If you want to go skiing in Gulmarg, there are two points from where you can start this activity; one is Kongdori and the other is Aparwahat Peak. A naturally groomed 450m slope offers an exhilarating skiing experience to  skiers at Kongdori, whereas from Apparwat ridge there is an 800m descend that apparently offers once in a lifetime experience. The steep snow terrain is strictly for skilled or advanced skiers and for the beginners it is ideal to try skiing at Kongdori. When in Gulmarg, do not miss the Gulmarg Gondola which is the highest Cable Carin the whole World. The best time to visit Gulmarg is in between December to March.


Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir:-

When looking for Skiing one the first locations to pop up has to be Pahalgam after Gulmarg, situated near Anantnag District in Jammu & Kashmir, the place is known as the prime location for Skiing experience. Auli, Uttarakhand:-

Welcome to the most preferred winter sports destination in India, Auli. It is one of best skiing destinations in the country and is situated in the lap of beautiful Uttarakhand. It is the most preferred skiing hub for the simple reason that it is a well-maintained, pristine retreat away from the confines of a bustling city life. Auli has also got the honour of hosting the first SAF Winter Games in India in 2011 and ever since this place has gained immense recognition in the winter sports world. The skiing slopes here range from 2000m to 3000m with just the perfect amount of snow on them. December to early March would be the best times to go skiing here.


Solang Nala, Himachal Pradesh:-

Solang Nala is a famous valley in Manali, Himachal Pradesh. The place is famous for conducting many types of winter games, especially skiing. There are many tournaments organized as well as workshops held for teaching amateurs the basics of skiing.Other summer games that are popular here are parachuting, paragliding, skating and zorbing. This region is home to workshops, tournaments, training schools and everything related to skiing.
